''I CAME TO PLAY'' activities

The first basketball camp took place from 20 October 2008 until 30 October 2008 in the „Letenka“ resting resort in Fruška Gora. The participants of the camp were thirty two young age between 13 and 17 : five from Bosnia & Hercegovina, five from Croatia, five from F.Y.R. Macedonia, five from Montenegro, three from Slovenia, three from Kosovo and six from Serbia. There was also ten facilitators who held workshops and demonstrative trainings for the participants. Rain was our only enemy, but at the end the campers went back home with smiles on their faces and nostalgia in their hearts because hanging out with their peers had come to an end.

The next activity that is planned before the new basketball camp is a promotion of ''I CAME TO PLAY'' ball camp under the name ''PLAY COMES TO YOU''- which is a follow up. The organisational team will visit the schools of participants of the first camp with the aim to present project for interested students, as well as to promote the camp spirit by means of sport activities (football, basketball, volleyball, etc.)

The leading idea of this project is to develop into sports „exit“ festival of sports and friendship for boys and girls with various popular sport disciplines and even a underwater hockey if we manage to set the conditions for it.
